Unit: Spy

DeletedUser8091

Why not have a spy unit.
When you attack & win and one of your units that survives is a spy (could have low defence unless in woods or such) you could use it to "turn" your opponents unit that you choose. And you have to use diamonds to do it. Result:You get a new unattached unit and your opponent in turn don't have that unit anymore.

There is a template for ideas.

Second, this is an idea that is open to abuse and is not balanced.

It is abusable because eight players can pick on a single player and each use their spy to remove an opponent's defending unit and leave that defender without any defences. The rest of the neighbourhood can then attack and plunder at will (at least until that player refreshes their defences - which may not be until at least 4 hours after they next log in and have a chance to rebuild units - longer if multiple units are taken from the same building). You don't even need to take all 8 of a player's defending units; just taking 2 or 3 will significantly weaken defences.

It is further abusable as players can take opponent's unattached units and (without Alcatraz) they would have no way to replace them.

It is not balanced as you are suggesting that this is a diamond only feature and would not be available to the majority of players.
