Troop descriptions on mobile phone

I noticed that when I was selecting troops to go to battle on my mobile that when I look at one of the defending troops it doesn't say whether it's heavy, artillery, ranged, etc. How do I determine which attacking troops to choose if I don't know what type of troops I'm attacking?

If you tap on the enemy unit on the troop selection screen it brings up info about the unit and shows what type it is.
