Tired of seeing refined goods from GBs

Actually tired of seeing refined goods from great buildings to produce current age goods.

Why INNO-FOE restrict to give one great building which produces current age goods even after modern era .

IMO, it will be quite useful and surely become the 3rd most wanted great building after ARC(1st) and CF(2nd).

What will be the damage it can cause to the game .

Cannot add this as a idea because within fraction of seconds it will be under DNS , hence started as a discussion to get the context of it.

Well, you've found the answer in your own post, that's CF.
Quests are singlehandendly the best source of current era goods, and, as CF boosts amount of goods earned per quest, it is figuratively a GB for producing current era goods, even those from Modern Era on (when you reach those later eras).
My opinion is that GB which produces refined goods from Modern Era on would definitely not be that popular at all, considering the fact that CF exists in the game.

CF, HC, SC. All produce current era goods. ToR and SV as well and upcoming GB will produce current era goods too.

Alternatives ways are available to get current age goods. No doubt.
CF - goods quest rewards,
HC - spoils of wars,
SC - diplomatic successful negotiations
SG - previous level goods to satisfy us
TT - aiding
SV - aiding
New GB - mix of HC and SC, I guess.

Others ways,
Special building, SOH, through plundering and also easily from current era's own goods buildings.

Probably. Good revenue from events. Not from GB's.

Closest to that would be Star Gazer, as it produces previous era goods, no matter if they are refined or unrefined. So current era refined goods would probably need to be another separate bonus, so that GB might possibly be one of the most useless GBs in the game prior to Modern Era, well maybe even then and later, considering the fact that no goods source can even approach the amount of goods you get from quests.

Completely agree. Game mechanism is indirectly suggesting to rely on RQs with CF if needed more coins, supplies, goods and diamonds.
