Heya folks!
My name is Kasper, and I'm the founder of "La Cosa Nostra" (LCN) - an empire founded here in Korch in 2014, but which now contains 11 guilds in 8 worlds.
You may have heard of us via our YouTube videos, which aim to educate members on the more advanced and/or innovative gameplay ideas.
What sets us apart from the rest?
Our #1 claim to fame is surely "The Bank of LCN", the unique goods-trading business (available only in Korch) which has been making our members wealthy since ownership was opened to everyone on July 8th, 2016.
This feature is 100% unique to our organization - there's no other guild in any world on any country's servers who also offers its members the opportunities that we do using The Bank of LCN.
But our bank is just one fruit off the branches of freedom that sprout from our policies - policies which promote freedom, fun, and innovation.
We have just two rules:
#1: obey the basic rules set by Innogames
#2: treat all other players with respect at all times, friends and enemies alike
We don't waste any of our time forcing members to play a certain way. No mandatory contributions, no activity quotas, no stupid nonsense.
Our motto is "you play your way, and we'll work around you".
We allow maximum freedom for our members, emphasizing the importance of personal growth BEFORE guild growth. We don't drown our members with a demand for guild contributions, we instead shower our members with the ridiculous quantity of resources, knowledge, and strategy tips we continue to amass.
Another noteworthy thing we do is separate our member base into multiple guilds, based largely (but not entirely) in experience and activity levels.
That way, we never encounter the all-too-common problem of having hyperactive powerhouse members get annoyed by the less active and/or less experienced members - a situation which is definitely my pick for the most common cause of inner-guild drama.
This system allows us to keep everyone happy, and to accommodate the fluctuations in our members' personal lives.
You're in the HQ, but are going on vacation for three weeks? No problem, we'll just send you "down" to a secondary guild until you get back.
You're in a secondary guild but feel you are ready to step it up and play with our best? No problem, we'll send you "up" to the HQ. If things don't work for whatever reason, also no problem, you can come back to the secondary guild and then try again for the HQ later on if you'd like. Or not. You can just chill out and relax in a secondary guild forever!
The constant pattern here is freedom and flexibility.
Unlike many high-performing groups, La Cosa Nostra understands that this is a game, that games should be fun.
