Time Anomaly/parallel universe?

I just had a run in with another player. It went like this - he plundered my city 2 days in a row, so I sniped his Stargazer GB. We exchanged tetchy messages, he said I had sniped and that's why he plundered. Here is his final message "You sniped my Star Gazer first. That’s what started this. After I plundered the first time you sniped again so I plundered again. I don’t plunder unless I get sniped. Don’t snip and I won’t plunder." . So he says I sniped twice, but so far it's only been once and as far as I know, his plundering was what started it. Can anyone enlighten me?

How are we supposed to "enlighten" you? We can't see the longs, so we have no way to know what either of you did.
