What the heck have you done? Ever heard of the phrase "If it's not broken don't fix it"? It was hard enough to get players in a small guild interested in this game mode and now there's not even a way to gauge any progress. I was playing right up until the very end of QI. Now my campaign ends trhee days before because I can't win battles. Who had that brain fart? Small guilds won't be able to achieve anything with these changes and I highly doubt they will bother to participate. I enjoyed the game mode but you have killed it off. Congratulations. Your war against small guilds needs to stop. I would advise you to change it back to the way it was. Do something, anything, to help small guilds.

Exactly, and having your mini-settlement reset every 11 days is worse than doing any other boring settlement full of impediments.
At least you can take your time doing them, QI is now forcing players into more difficulty every day.

Nothing has changed about building your QI city. You still need to do it in the same way at the same pace. You are not forced in any way. It is even impossible to do it any faster.

You need more than that to get 100% A/D. Due to power-creep they mostly all now redundant except Viking's Yggdrasil.
So, what is the point of spending hours doing the other settlements several times?

Strange comment since in QI you need to attack and defend and Yggdrasil only gives an attack bonus for QI. I would not call a settlement building that boosts your defence bonus useless. I would try to get at least one.

You have made a very good point. With these 4th championship changes Inno has greatly increased the QI entry level to be successful.

1. You have to be doing GE level 5 regularly so you can collect Fragments of the Forgotten Temple. You'll need 200 Fragments to assemble the Forgotten Temple, generally considered essential for improving A/D.
2. You have to be in and doing GbG Diamond League regularly to have a chance to receive Fragments of the Tourney Grounds. Collecting enough fragments allows you to assemble the Tourney Grounds, which provides significant attack and defense boosts. Why you can't get these in lower leagues I will never know.

Players have been doing GE level 5 and GBG Diamond league way before QI and regardless of QI. Even if you do not do QI it would not hurt you having those buildings.

3. You will need a selection of new event buildings, The Orchard of Orange Dreams was obtained by participating in the Care for Tomorrow Event, it is a no brainer, giving 200% 300% for attacking army and 300% 200% defence for defending army. It could be some time before you can get one again if you missed it.

Is this another boo boo? Orchard of Orange Dreams only gives a 5% attack and defence boost for QI. Only no brainer is that the QI boost is peanuts.

Yes nothing strange, I stand by my last post, maybe someone else will explain where you are wrong.

Still just 5% for QI but you will need it for GE & GbG activities above.

Useful info for newer players

Last thing newer players should do is pay attention to any "advice" you give.

There is no defending army in GBG, so that is 300% going to waste to start with. The other 300% and 200% boosts are defence boosts. Not the first thing newer players should focus on. What they should aim for are attack and defence boosts that work on all parts of the game, not just specific parts.

Newer players are not very likely to be able to do much in GBG Diamond League, or get to level 5 GE. That takes time and by the time they get there, they are bound to know what they are doing without needing your help.

When Q.I got out ,most of my members didn´t wanted to spend time on it as fighting in the beginning of a season were tough. When I showed them the way to set up their settlement so they could fight as usual at day3 or 4 it changed at and about 80% participated , now we will be back at start as alot of them will lose their army at day 5,before it was fun to see how far we could get in level now who cares as it is the same.
Please change it back or remove it ,maybe remove PvP as well as it also sucks big time , and Historical Allies ?? What A joke , re introduce GvG with a timebuffer pr attack ,like 2,3 secs then it don´t matter if some guilds use bots, remove forgepoint rewards from GBG and also those special buildings like Glimdale,Thundedrake and whatnot and maybe also reduce points for fighting

I just watched four guilds manage only two fights on the first encounter in QI. I expect none on this final level.
 
I'm like others here. I've not commented on the forum for a long while but the last few days have proved pointless. The last time I got this frustrated with FoE was when GE Level 5 was introduced. At least with that we have choices: when the going gets tough with GE lvl 5 at least we get choices. With this version of QI, for the last few days you have to have a significant number of players with strong defence or you don't get past first base.

Like a lot of players, I suspect, I was just getting to grips with QI, building the QI settlement and whatnot and getting 2 free chests.
Now, after 3 days, our Guild will be up against a wall, so for me, there's no point in playing QI at all.
I really can't be bothered gathering all the specials required to increase QI boosts at the expense of concentrating on the core game, GE, GBG and currently, Egypt Settlement.
The game developers might better employ their efforts in enhancing the core game instead of adding poorly disguised revenue generating features that benefit only a certain sector of the player base.
QI? I'm out!

So, a lot will quit playing QI.

Exactly, I have been saying that since release! Not being a player who always likes to moan, I try to suggest a better way forward for Inno that will ultimately get more players to play with the inevitable benefits of more paying customers.
For the time being, Inno needs to forget about helping only the large paying QI guilds of which there are only a few, and focus more on enhancing the core game as you say.

They can do it by re-balancing QI and adding it as a solo-playing ultimate settlement just like the others which you can play at your leisure to obtain neo-fragments and emissaries.
If they did that, QI would surely become the most popular settlement ever! More players would join FOE to play it instead of quitting.

That's true, the old-school who have maxed all their stats don't need GE5 or diamond league GbG rewards for QI help, it could be played with only IA city, and the majority of newer players who enjoyed playing it have just had their legs cut off, they will not get them back any time soon. I also don't think QI will ever be a major feature that is worth spending months or years before you can play it again. So just let them make it into a beautiful-looking settlement where everyone can play when they want, Inno can then focus on a new 2025 all-age feature for all-age players.

The new changes in the QI have completely killed it for my guild. With ten members we cannot complete the map in one day. We used to get through level two, and now we fail on level one, only to fail the next day with a higher difficulty level. Just as we were enjoying the challenge we are now stuck in a loop, just like everybody is saying - “Groundhog Day”.
