The Problem of Mars Ore

I have been playing FoE for some time now and believed my progress in all areas to be up to date. But having now reached Space Age Mars, I suddenly discover that for an unexplained reason, I cannot mine mars ore and cannot progress. Always a good idea to make the same post twice in case you miss the replies in the other one.

That is because it will make the problem go away. If you do not like the answer that it is you that created the problem, you do not start over with the game, but with the comment.

It's actually a very common question that's also regularly being asked and answered in in-game chat, at least on P-world. It may not be that obvious for a lot of players reaching the space ages.

Be careful to at least have a decent amount of Mars ore in reserve before moving up to the next Space Age (Space Age Asteroid Belt) if you want to avoid having to put up Mars ore synthesizers in your city. Not only will you lose your Space Age Mars colony but it will also lock the Space Age Mars campaign map, when aging up, so you won't be able to mine Mars ore anymore.
