I think it's excellent - it pretty much levels itself up as everyone wants BPs - mines at level 9 already. The information concerning spawning of relics is a little unclear - I shouldn't have finished level III as 7 relics appeared afterwards that I couldn't collect. Some awesome prizes behind jade relics. Good work Inno.

Now what's going to happen to all the Arctic goods in Treasury??

Golds have yielded 200 goods (not sure if they were Arctic as I don't keep a record of stocks), a watchfire and 10x rogues.

So far this week I've had 100 Fps, 10 Rogues and quite a few arbors. Not bad as my temples are only at levels 3 and 4.

gold relic - 100 FPs - I'd lined up a swap buddy in the event that it happened - posted to the points bar, so instant use. Anyone know what's in the jade relics?

I think it's only the good special buildings (Shrine of Knowledge, Bazaar, etc.), but not 100% sure on that

This week @ level 9 - 2 relics that gave 2 deco. Last week at level 3 I got 7 (2 where jade) Same thing seemed to happen on Beta to. Most done well when first built, but each week after has been poor even tho its higher level. (I haven't had a relic for 2 weeks there)

@pawelp is it worth taking up to that kind over level? How many encounters on average to you have to do to get a relic? I would love to have mine up at a super high level, but will probably get cut again at level 80 like the Arc and take 10 levels every 1% then. I think its 35% for level 80?

I got 3 silver, 2 gold, and 1 jade on 3rd in 16 encounters level this week (silver+watchfire+100FPs+Bazaar). I would invest in GBs generating FPs like Cape or CDM first, then temple, however, if you already have them leveled to high level, then temple is a good choice. Of course, I would recommend Arc first before temple.

Also, temple is more important for those that do not buy any diamonds because temple can give sok or bazaars that are extremely needed for these players. Players that have cities full of them benefit less.

The growth curve of rewards vs. total points is liner vs. exponential for all GBs. Level 60-80 is where the exponential growth of total points exceed the linear growth. Most of the GBs should be stopped around that level unless you have a specific reason no to do so e.g. you want to have highest GB in the world. The reason for stopping Arc at 80% is not really a drop to 0.1% per level, but the exponential growth of total points vs. linear growth of rewards which makes levels not affordable. Sam applies to all other GBs.

having Relics gb at L7, ive done 9 battles this week and also didnt get any relics whatsoever... will battle until finishing expedition L3 to see if i can get any relic at all this week.

Can some1 show screenshot of what rewrds can you get from: common, uncommon and rare relic?
 
So far for me 12 battles and nothing. Tower at 14.5%; that's 100/14.5 = 6.9 battles on average to get one relic drop.
I also know that the odds of getting a relic are 1 in 6.9 on every battle no change no matter how many battles are fought, however, there is also the Law of Averages.

If there is no problem with the stated percentage and the mathimatical equation that defines the relic drop, then the Law of Averages should begin to apply after a 500% to 1000% attempts. In other words, with a 14.5% ToR after 34 to 68 battles, you should have received at least one relic drop and the probability is that you could have expected at least 5 relics to drop.

Assumption:
Unfurtunately, the probabities apply on a World basis not on a player basis, therefore, the more players with ToR in their cities, the less likely of getting a relic. Some players will have better luck than others, but, on average across all players, the number of relic drops should reflect the Law of Averages as applied to the entire World, such as Arvahall, and to a single player over a vast number of battles.

A small analysis on the building:
A Shrine of Knowledge produces 1/4 of a forgepoint per space per day. A level 10 Temple of Relic produces (16.25%*48 encounters = ) 7.8 relics per week or 1.11 per day. Now since there's seems to be 5 common and 5 uncommon rewards, I'm assuming there's a 1/5 chance of obtaining a specific reward, so the chance at getting a 20FP reward is 1/5*67.75%, so we'd get an average of (1/5*67.75%*20FP = ) 2.71 FPs per relic from the common reward and (1/5*26.75%*100FP = ) 5.35 FPs from the uncommon relic. Multiplying the relics per day by the sum of FPs per relic gives us (1.11*[2.71+5.35] = ) 8.98 FPs per day or (8.98/36 = ) 0.25FPs per space per day.
So essentially having one in your city at level 10 is the same as having 9 shrines plus you get goods, units, and shrines from it :D (Note that a level 1 ToR still produces about 0.18FPs per space per day, so it isn't that bad if you don't level it.)

My experience on beta based on my trend over four weeks of relic spawning is quite clear: the relic amount I'm getting every week is totally unpredictable regardless of the % of chance my Temple gives me

last week : 1 relic (Temple 14%)
this week: 8 relics (Temple 14,5%)

so applying arithmetic and mathematics here is very risky
It is the same as the last FoE cup event where I needed 20 or 30 shots more than once to get the 20%

Maths and lucky, oil and water, they dont mix, they are opposite to each other
