Indeed they did. Misclicked many times on attack instead of auto battle the first days. Getting used to it now.Is it me or did they switch/reverse the position of attack and auto-attack buttons ?
But when are you "done fighting"?a better option would be as you fight the rewards all get collected in a chest that you can collect when you are done fighting.
I can only assume they're hinting at something like what is supposedly coming for building collection popups, a "ribbon" that shows the rewards briefly but fades after a few seconds, would be better than constant popups. But when are you "done fighting"?
Yes, agree, but ggbuild above suggests a chest with the rewards that you can collect when you are done fighting, so I'm asking: when are you "done fighting"?.I can only assume they're hinting at something like what is supposedly coming for building collection popups, a "ribbon" that shows the rewards briefly but fades after a few seconds, would be better than constant popups.
They had this style of notification for years already with the notification of who aids you or sits in your tavern, it doesn't interrupt your game with a box you have to click on, it just pops up so you can see and then fades away - so we know they did KNOW how to make notifications that were less effing annoying at one time - LOL.
Yeah, a chest would be another thing to collect and click, and obviously there is not a "done" point in fighting unless you made people wait for their daily chest of crap from GBG 24 hours to pay it out daily or something, so that doesn't really work on a several levels.Yes, agree, but ggbuild above suggests a chest with the rewards that you can collect when you are done fighting, so I'm asking: when are you "done fighting"?.
The rewards we receive from fighting are already marked as new items in the inventory. Why collect them in a chest when we are "done fighting" (whenever that is)?
So if you win a fighting reward from a single fight, maybe from a single hood, pvp, guest or challenge battle, you would have to unlock a chest to get the reward?when you are done fighting?
when you return to your city, would have thought that was obvious?
My thinking was just for gbg that you can let the chest pile up as long as you wish then collect when you want for me i would love to leave it until im about to go sniping or about to take spots on guild great buildings 1.9 thread and so on.So if you win a fighting reward from a single fight, maybe from a single hood, pvp, guest or challenge battle, you would have to unlock a chest to get the reward?
Or if you do a couple of GBG or GE fights and win a few rewards, there would be a new chest every time you return to the city?

I love the idea of being able to let the chest stack right up before i collect it. In my idea if not collected by the end of gbg round it would auto collect and then all items added to inventory.
Personally the button layout is confusing, it seems to be set up for left handed players even though the majority of humans are right handed, right handed players tend to start on left and move to the right like writing, not start right and move left. Not sure what they were thinking.
Maybe something like:
Let's put the Replace button on the right side.
And then we better put Auto Battle next to it.
So we have to switch Attack and Auto Battle around.
I've got that ribbon on beta, and trust me it is very annoying. It's in addition to all the other popups, not instead of them. And if you're collecting a few buildings, it keeps popping up. I am at a loss why they spent dev time to produce it.I can only assume they're hinting at something like what is supposedly coming for building collection popups, a "ribbon" that shows the rewards briefly but fades after a few seconds, would be better than constant popups.

As a left handed person, my natural direction of movement is left to right, same as writing. At any rate, the new button placements suits me less well.Personally the button layout is confusing, it seems to be set up for left handed players even though the majority of humans are right handed, right handed players tend to start on left and move to the right like writing, not start right and move left.
Even though I have been using it for some time now, I still find it slow and awkward having the replace button to the far right, so for me this is a no go, I can go faster refreshing units manually and ignoring it as its always hidden under my hand and in wrong place for myself
