Surrender/retreat

  • World: en1

  • Overview of the bug: when clicking the surrender/retreat button the battle doesn't immediately end (you see troops moving in the background), often resulting in the loss of additional units. I had 3 archers left on the field when I clicked the button (two with full hp, one had two hitpoints left). The battle report only showed me one full-hp archer was left. That's a loss of two archers and 8 hours training time!
  • Screenshots: I would've, but the battle report can't be moved and it was blocking the view. Will take screenshots if it happens again.
  • How often this occurs: Quite often.
  • Urgency: Medium-High
  • Preventative Actions: Only surrender when it's my turn. Doesn't always work.
  • Summary: The retreat button should end the battle immediately.
  • I have performed a quicksearch of the forums using a select few keywords relating to my bug to see if it has already been reported: surrender, retreat, button
  • Have you tried fixing it by using these methods?: Yes.

Again, see this screenshot. Two archers left on the field with full HP and the ballista should have survived as well. Yet the report says otherwise.

I don't know if this is a bug or not, from my understanding, if you click surrender, the troops do not leave the battle field immediately, but at the completion of a battle cycle... so any units that have not yet moved would still get to do so before your troops have escaped the field...
