Sticky messages
-----------------------
What is meant by a sticky message is the message will always show at the top of the window even when scrolling up or down the history of the thread
Every guild thread will have the option of sticking a permanent message at the top of the thread by a guild admin. every social thread will have the same option by the thread admin.
This will be acheived by a new command, visible only to admins, in the popup-menu of the clicked message (same as “edit” “reply” “delete”)
a sticky message won’t be “owned” by the original poster.
Any guild admin may stick or un-stick any message.
There will be allowed only one sticky message per thread

I’ll explain why i think this is important:
---------------------------------------------------
Some threads are opened with long term purpose (1.9 thread, FP swap thread, arc/obs level up thread, fair trade goods thread...) and those have certain rules that every newly added member should be familiar with, otherwise mistakes happen.
The way this is done today is a post of the rules when the thread is created or occasionally a re-post in the thread itself or the official guild thread (eg when the guild is recruiting).
Another option is you to have a comprehensive “Guild rules” thread or a few locked separate rule threads for each purpose.

This idea was suggested in 2017 but the topic was closed without further investigation
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was suggested the heading of the thread will suffice --> But obviously some threads require a bit more complex rule system than just a few words
It was suggested that having a “tag” (#important) would cover this --> But tags apply to threads not messages. It is very tedious to look through the entire guild rules thread for the appropriate message. It is even more tedious to look up the specific rule thread (even if it is tagged)
