Hello Foe players, I think we should organize a quick list of slang so that we can communicate with each other more quicky, whilst others and newcomers can view this thread and get to know what we write.
May seem a little lame, but has great benefits.
Post any in-game/forum related slang you could introduce, and I'll add it to the first post!
Especially looking for abbreviations, slang or shortings of many units, buildings and general commands :)
Moderator: Sticky/delete if use(full/less)
List:
Units:
Stoners = Stone-throwers
Srangers = Short range units
Lrangers = Long range units
Buildings:
Battles:
Autobattle = Automatically finished battle (CPU)
Resources:
D's = Diamonds
sups = supplies
rocks = stone
wood = lumber (not to be mistaken with forest, the source.

stoners = stone-throwers
(the S-rangers aren't really necessary, are they - and L-rangers are long-range units :p)

I suggest using Battle instead of Battles, that way we'll save a load of typing :p

rocks = stones
wood = lumber
I'm just new, but I hope that helps :cool:

Aren't the forums supposed to be plain English, i am sure it says something about this in the rules. :confused:

spears = spearfighters, warriors
ponies/horses/cav = Horsemen, cavalry
big bows = ballistas
crates = supplies
coin/coins = gold, money
statues = marble

So for example, "I had 6 spears and 2 ponies, and got 100 crates."

's' for supplies ... or sup?
Definitely 'legs' for legionnaires. Sounds like a prosthetics campaign.

"sup" is slang for "hey dude, whassup"

True but you just have to make sure it's in the right context. Similar to "Pfft, that's pathetic" and "That was a pathetic fallacy"

Well or a better might be "hand me a mag"-a soldier would say it if he wanted a magazine for his weapon, while someone in a waiting room might say it to their friend who's next to the table with the magazines on it.

Although personally I'd prefer to just say "supplies" or "crates"
