Already Suggested: Rotation of buildings

Sometimes you can’t get buildings to fit would be a lot easier if we could rotate them . If it’s 4x 2 horizontal then you could make it 4x2 vertical .

Really???

It just never stops!!!!!

Learn how to do it if you want to come up with ideas and be taken serious!!!!!!

This never gets old:lol: As mentioned it will never happen at least if developers don't decide themselves and most likely it would be in a form of a kit. The kit also could apply for special buildings and not casual from menu so less redesigning.

Can I rotate buildings?
No, it's not possible to rotate buildings.

This has two reasons:

1. We don't want to make it too easy to rearrange the city. The missing option to rotate buildings makes the game more difficult - like a puzzle.

2. The buildings are currently only animated from one angle. To add a rotate function would mean to overhaul all existing buildings and animate them from all kind of angles. We would rather invest this time in cool new features.

If you don't have enough space in your city, you can sell your existing buildings or rearrange the city to use the available area more efficiently.

@Buster Broon thankyou for taking the time to present your idea, we do appreciate it but the devs are already aware players want this feature.

For future ideas it'll also need to use the following format:

Have you Checked the Ideas section for the same idea posted by someone else? Is this idea similar to one that has been previously suggested?
