Not a Bug: Road upgrade when not needed.

  • Browser and Version: Chrome - updated
  • Overview of the bug: When using the multi-section road upgrade, I had the road highlighted over a section of gravel road I had just upgraded. When I released the cursor, It again upgraded my gravel roads, to gravel roads, charging me again for the same items. -500 hammers and gold.
  • Screenshots: no
  • How often this occurs: Only tried it once - why waste more resources?
  • Urgency: - High
  • Preventative Actions Don't attempt to upgrade multiple sections.

  • I have performed a quicksearch of the forums using a select few keywords relating to my bug to see if it has already been reported: Yes

noticed this as well. it should not allow you to "upgrade" to the same road.

I noticed that too. I would call it more careless of the developers than anything, but it definitely should be fixed.

Yeah - agreed - also the diamond road needs to be placed at the top of the tree since it provides the most happiness because you can easily replace it with lesser roads with the current system...

This is more of an improvement suggestion then a bug. The feature works as intended it replaces the existing roads. We may implement suggestion at a later date, but for now we will not modify the feature.
