The current friends list system works like this: a player can have up to 140 friends, but can only invite 80, and the ability to invite stops at 80 friends regardless of whether all 80 actually have been invited by the player, rather than the player accepting an invite from them. This, I think, is complicated and certainly much more so than it needs be. (If anyone has doubts about the accuracy of my description, I recieved a reply from a support ticket which states exactly this.)
I would rather see a list that can accomodate up to 200 friends, with the ability to invite being applied to all of these. (Perhaps 200 is too many, perhaps 150 would be more preferable.) This would allow the game to be played with a greater interaction between players, and would allow for a more community-minded gameplay.
I would also propose to implement the ability for "pinning" friends at the start of the list. Where the crossed swords icon in the neighbournhood is, there is a gap in the friends list. I would place an icon of a drawing pin here, which, when players clicked it, would "pin" that friend to the start of the list, regardless of the amount of points. This would make it easier to find certain friends for GBs or aiding.
Please let me know what you think.
