They don't want to be helpful really, Droppy serves sarcasm and non-answers to everyone. at least it's not personalSimple question and all I get is ambiguous answers.
Why would I google or use wiki when the answers should be available within FOE.
Guess as an 80 year old i should be more aware of the younger generations sarcasm

Thank you Ariana. Nice to see understanding my questions. You are a breath of fresh air on this siteThey don't want to be helpful really, Droppy serves sarcasm and non-answers to everyone. at least it's not personal
The game has never been well documented in the game itself, they rely heavily on outside wikis and these days, youtube videos, to explain how to play.
The "special" goods starting in Arctic future were added to the game to slow you down, so no there are not a lot of sources. Back in the day people could save up all the FPs and goods to unlock a new age the same day it was released, and "special" goods were there to put a speed bump on doing that. You are given 1 main source, in AF OF and VF is those ship terminals you named, in space ages it's ore mines on the various planetary maps.
There are a few other ways to get "special" goods or boost their output: 1) Great buildings like AI Core or Space Carrier provide either a boost or random amount of special goods every day. 2) rare buildings won in events (Chamber of Quantum Transcendence, Didukh, etc. ) produce random special goods.
Thank you Nidwin for your cooperation. Patience as you say.Orichalcum and Promethium are, as explained by Ariana "special goods" and slow to get. Artic and Oceanic future are the two slowest ages to get through, long research trees, especially Oceanic Future. You will also require both, Orichalcum and Promethium, in the space ages so make sure to continue to sent those boats out to stack up those 2 special goods.
There's an icon, top left, when you open the research tree (took me time to find that one out) where you can check what you need as resources for all ages. Just in case you missed that one.
Good luck and patience is going to be the key. Just enjoy other aspects of the game while going through those never ending 2 ages.
Pretty obvious why I would need Promethium and Orichalcum EH.You are an anonymous person on a forum. Nobody knows your name, age, job or education and nobody cares. A twelve year old can claim to be 80 and the same way around. Is that supposed to earn you extra credits? The Wiki is linked within the game like Forwandert states, so the info is within the game.
You did not ask why you need promethium or orichalcum and yet that was answered. Happy with that?
