Progressing through the Ages?

DO I have to complete ALL of the boxes to progress to the next age? I have reached Late Middle Ages but nothings changed. I do still have a couple of things not completed but the arrows have moved me to the next Age and I have started High Middle Age tasks but it doesnt look like I have progressed? Can anyone advise please.

Hi clarko2000... and welcome to the forum.

You have to unlock the first tech of a new age, before you're town "moves" to that age as well...and you don't have to unlock all the techs in the previous age, to do that.
