Thank you inno, for new settlement
Looks really nice, and always run to do them.
BUT time reward !!!!! 2x2 amazing 5 % attack !!!!!!! Your going to upgrade other events, about time, as in modern game, since free fights, settlements not worth space, so needed upgrades .....
Inno, look at time rewards !!!! Totally insulting rewards, certainly not worth having, so why have them !!!!
better than greater runestone lvl5

So far I have nothing really negative to say about this settlement, There are a few minor visual issues on the graphics which could do with fixing or tidying up but so far enjoying this very much....gameplay could be a little more challenging, nothing outstanding but that's personal, having completed all the other settlemnts I hoped this would be a little different and there are slight differences, as a Titan player I hoped for more but given this is for lower aged players as well it's good. overall I give it a 4/5 but I'm only a little way into it atm, so may alter that....depends on what's to come....

i have only ever done 2 settlements i gave them up as a waste of time and never needed the buildings they gave out as prizes and i am so glad i never did waste my time on it, i was wondering if i should give it a try as those buildings they give out now have some decent stats but i have plenty to be doing as it stands with events ge, gbg, hood fights, collections, there is a lot to do in this game these days and i am trying to do less and less not do more and more lol

Lots of removing buildings to gain diplomacy to research, and then rebuilding. When something is ready to be researched, you remove all the buildings, place diplomacy ones, complete the research, remove diplomacy, and restore the previous buildings. This is happening for every research. It hasn't been this bad with Vikings or Feudal Japan.

Also, there is too much time spent gathering goods. Lots of days are spent just opening the settlement, collecting, starting productions and checking back later. This is quite boring for a new settlement with wonderful graphics, I expect it to be interesting and worth spending time in. Repetitive work takes up 80% of the time spent in the settlement with nothing else to do. This can be reduced by reducing the number of goods required for research.

One has to remember that this is targeted at lower inexperienced players but I admit that I wasn't prepared for it to be so easy, on last Quest now, only reason to do this is to gain the end building, although I fear it will be out of date and redundant by the time I get there

i find the goods collection really slow in order to achieve the amount required for researching
It's not that slow, other settlements are worse, Mughal is really slow at beginning, this is around same as Egypt, it probably feels slower because of the timings 5 and 10 hr are not usual and take some getting used to

I'm finding the no roads a mixed blessing. Yes it's easier in some ways. But if you want to rearrange the settlement, or add diplomacy to unlock a tech, there's no wriggle room as one can't delete roads to make space to shuffle things around. Maybe we need a settlement editor option like the city editor, for all settlements including QI.

The 10 and 20 hour production timings in particular, I really like them. Fit into my day better than the 4/8/24 hour timings.

That would make it too easier, the whole idea of the settlements is to make them more challenging than your normal city, you do have to plan ahead more with the Polynsian settlement due to exactly the lack of roads, having a unused expansion ( or one filled with single square totems ) works for me,

I'm on the Egypt settlement at the moment but going to speed that up starting at next itertion. If someone has some time and able to check how many goods in total is required to unlock up and including the Kava Farm in one go, after the usual, now 10 hours first goods production?

Believe every settement has their own total split differently between the 4 "goods" required each time you do a level, on Poynesia it seems to be 975 total goods

Yes but that wasn't my question DJ of Ba, my mistake for the misunderstanding. I'm only interested in to know how much diamonds it would cost me to unlock all up to kava farm to speed up the progress in one go after 11 hours.

e.g. for the Mughal settlement to get through the bottleneck it costs around 800 diamonds.

Oh I see, apologies, no idea as don't use diamonds on settlements apart from occasionally to remove obstructions when allowed

Right, Kava farm is 5th item the cost would be dependant on some factors as unlike Egypt, Polynesia does have expansion squares outside of what you are given at start which DO NOT have obstructions and as every map is different then you could encounter none or several, believe they cost 50 diamonds to remove, each expansion is 500 diamonds, buildings cost 50 diamonds to build immediately, just started another level so will work my way towards Kava and try to keep track of potential costs to get there using Diamonds

Probably only another few days and Poly/settlements will be back on ignore, adjustment on beta, knew it would be coming. Only thing I used Poly for but I managed to remember to get them daily upto this point so im well ahead on mass rushes. Looks like it got swapped with single building rush. Which might still be worth it if you're collecting daily.
