Player Points System

Hi, Im still not sure how the points system works. For example, when 2 players are in the same Era, one has higher and more Great Buildings, etc, than the other, but that players overall points are less compared to the other. Confused, appreciate any help here. Thanks

Points are also gained by spending goods and fighting. The higher the era of the goods or troops you defeat the more points you gain.

Basically though, the points system is meaningless, other than kind of showing how active a player is. There is basically zero reason to compare yourself against another player - unless you want to compare the same player all the time, and how active you and the other player are.
Just use the point system as a very broad example of where you are compared with others. You want to be more specific, then you need to be more specific with other players. In and of itself, it is not a good tool to base anything on.
