  • World: Arvahall.
  • Browser and Version: Latest Google Chrome version.
  • Overview of the bug: One player marked #84 on my neighborhood is shown to have under 2,000 points, but his city is updated to ME and the world rankings say over 500,000 points.

  • How often this occurs: I just noticed this right now.
  • Urgency: Low.
  • Preventative Actions: None.
  • Summary: One player has two contradictory point counts on two boards.
  • I have performed a quicksearch of the forums using a select few keywords relating to my bug to see if it has already been reported: Either I am bad at searching, or this wasn't reported before. I found nothing.
  • Have you tried fixing it by using methods listed in the thread pinned to the top of this forum: A refresh doesn't work. Cache didn't work either.

This is usually a player that has been moved to a new hood or come out of inactivity. The old points are temporarily misplaced setting them at 0. As the player progresses they gain points as normal.

If I remember correctly it usually resolves itself.

I think it's been 'fixed' a few times but pops up from time to time just to say hi, lol.

This is indeed an old bug that pops up from time to time - see this thread for example. It seems to affect a few players after a neighbourhood merge and as Barti correctly pointed out, usually resolves itself after a few days.

I've not heard of it happening in friends lists, and would be interested to know if anyone else has seen this in their friends list.

Not 100% sure that's where it was, but if it does pop up - I'll post.
