Proposal: Players are able to store premium buildings with store building item.

Have you checked for similar ideas?: N/A

Reason: Unlike ordinary buildings which can be rebuit, these one costs diamonds.

gave a +1 to this proposal. The reason makes sense to me.

So? Premium buildings can be rebuilt:rolleyes:
You can simply build it with diamonds again;) Unlike event buildings like Cider Mill which will NEVER EVER be built even if you are willing to pay 1000000 diamonds:lol:
Although if this idea was introduced way before I could still have my theater with me, what a pity I don't have it anymore:(
And it would give an advantage to new players as they can simply store the buildings without wasting diamonds while older players had to pay diamonds for premium buildings and when they deleted them and wanted them again or wanted another premium building they spent more diamonds for it without having their old premium building.
And your reason is a little bit....no good(no offense) it should be something like:
Reason: Unlike ordinary buildings which cost supplies and coins and sometimes goods, these one costs diamonds.
P.S Does voting for yourself count? If it does I might use this in the future:)

We can't change the past! But we can change the future! We can't simply store premium buildings as we need store building item which has limit and can be obtained from the events.

Thank you, but I prefer it my way.

We are currently testing this new voting system and hopefully not.

Nice catchphrase!;)

Your truly welcome:):):)

Alright, looking forward to it! I like the new voting system, it's less confusing and saves time when you scroll down a thread.

That's a good point, currently the store item will be useless for players that don't have much event buildings and the rewards from events like store buildings should be made useful, this idea will surely make it useful!

The idea sounds reasonable; I think most premium buildings end up getting deleted because they are obsolete, like Soldatos' theatre, but I don't see why one shouldn't store them.

DeletedUser96901

why not also normal buildings ?

if a player wants to waste his kit to store it instead of rebuilding it later for coins/supplies then he should be able to do it

+1
I agree with the majority of voters on a simple cost issue.
The principle of the Store Kit item is to allow a member to store his expensive diamond kit and recover it easily.
I can only agree with that fundamental principle :-)

Well I like the idea of being able to store and place happy buildings over and over. Premium ones tend to give more happiness so would make the gain happy quests so much easier than having to build and delete the flower arbours.

To be honest i don't like the store building kit anyway it's a lazy tool so making it any more efficient gets a -1 from me. Part of the challenge of the game is to maximise your space for your current situation. Store building kits take that away in my mind.

DeletedUser108379

Why would I want to store a building that has outlived its usefullness?

I very much like the addition of poll in idea threads, definitely seems like it increases feedback, as those who don't have the time or inclination to leave a comment can still participate.
What's the plans for this feature going forward?

DeletedUser

I remain undecided but i think its kind a intersting idea since not even small ammount of diamonds are given back. I think cultural buildings would be stored the most and it might help for some heavy diamonds users that cant do events because their city are full of diamond buildings.. they might use it..

Why hasn't this been implemented yet?

Those of us veterans who are active in events and GE basically have nothing but premium buildings. You're penalizing us for playing the game...

★★★☆☆

The ability to store them is a good idea, but to make yet another diamond paid feature?
In other words paying users will get another advantage, they can store them for money, freeing up space for example city reconstruction, then use them freely again whenever they want.

A credit-card player already has an enormous advantage, I don't see why can't these features be based on player-deeds in some form.

Some examples:
  • when you finish any level in GE, you have a certain amount of chance to get a premium building store-card
  • or participating in GVG after a certain amount of battles you'd get a store-card
  • or even after aiding a certain number of people you'd get one
These would be incentives for features in the game, which could strengthen interaction or cooperation between people, instead of saying, "hey you pay and you're good to go".

No, the idea calls for including premium buildings in what store building can store, which is an item acquired through GE among other things. It costs no diamonds to store an event building.

Ah, then I completely misread it, apologies!

Btw I don't know if it's experimental or will be the new way of voting, but it's brilliant to see a poll at last!
To push even further, I'd make the polls current state visible in the main ideas page too.
