Newbie Question - Antiques Dealer

Picton Boy

Private
I see that every time I place a bid on something that regardless of whether or not there is an existing bid or not, there is one hour and 57 minutes remaining in the auction. It does not make sense, or am I missing something? If someone has already bid on the item, then why would there be that amount of time left?

I am finding this happens each and every time I bid on something. If someone can enlighten me I would appreciate knowing.

Cheers,

Knight of ICE

Every auction runs for 2 hrs. The number of participants is limited. If that number is reached a new auction starts. That's how it is possible you enter an auction with 1.57 left. First person in started the timer at 2 hrs.
