New Inventory Item kits that glue/unglue together set items

I would love to have an inventory item kit (it can be offered via the antiqueS dealer or in GE...) that glues together items that are part of a set. Once glued they can be moved together and only one needs to touch the road. Another (or the same) can undo the glueing and set them back loose. Upgrades can still work (or require unglueing) depending on the technical aspects.
This would bring a lot mode flexibility to the city design, requiring less roads in some cases, and allows faster re-design.

As long as it doesn’t change the requirements of the buildings then a “glue” would be a good idea for the purpose of rearranging. But if it’s going to remove the need for roads then I don’t see this as a good idea from a balance standpoint
