Proposal:

Add the ability to apply multiple upgrade kits at once

Have you checked the forums for the same or similar idea: Yes

Reason:

To save time and make applying multi-level upgrades (esp. for event buildings) more user friendly (and enjoyable)

Details:

When applying an upgrade kit to the (appropriate) building, give us the option to use all upgrade kits in our inventory with a single click (or two), instead of having to apply each upgrade kit individually (which requires going to the inventory, searching the inventory - as the upgrade kit seems to never be on the first page - and then applying the kit one at a time). For example, with the current Winter Spire building, applying 11 level upgrades is just not very user friendly in the current format.

A simple solution would be to give players the option to select the level to which they'd like to apply upgrades. In the upgrade kit popup window, make the levels to be buttons through which we can select the desired upgrade level (levels up to the number of available upgrade kits in the inventory will be enabled). Then clicking on the "Upgrade" button will apply the necessary number of upgrade kits at once

+1 it is not a very urgent matter but why not the essentials are left alone anyway.

I like the idea, but how about a slightly different concept:

why not add buttons to a pop-up window if you click on any building in your city also showing basic building info. (production and goods buildings have pop-ups to make a selection what to produce, other buildings show info but not as a pop-up)
If the building has the options to gain levels or be shrunk, 2 buttons could be added. So it would have to check these conditions and if an upgrade item or shrink item is present in storage the button lights up. Just clicking on the relevant button and confirming could do the job. If the pop-up window stays open you could do multiple levels fast and easy.

Taking it a step further, it could also be used to allow one-up kits and reno-kits to be used in such a way. Nothing more annoying when trying to upgrade a building, to go through the steps to find the item in the inventory, use it, just to click on an adjacent building in the building packed city, and have to cancel and do it over again.

It's more logical to select a building first and then do things to it, then selecting an item in inventory and then going to the building multiple times.
Also as the number of buildings with upgrades and shrinking increases, this will become more and more of an issue.

Sorry to be a negative here, but there are so many other issues I´d rather see fixed than the 4 min. it takes me to level en event building from level 1 to whatever. How about fixing that constant pop up window from the Tavern that does not do anything other that adding yet another dayli click to the hundreds of dayli clicks already – If you want to reduce clicks then lets fix something that really matters and reduce the chances for any RSI related problems.

Having to write "Winter" then click Copy and Paste it in for every time you go into inventory, the one or two times it happens during an event (for most players just one time) is a prettty easy thing to do.

By the way I recall this being proposed before.

Don't know why anyone would use this, but hey, if it helps someone, I won't hesitate.
