New Bug: Negotiations Helper

DJ of BA

Lieutenant Colonel
I found a discussion on Reddit. You simply go to extensions in Chrome and turn it back on and it is working again. But Firefox is working fine and is smoother than Chrome

You had to go to the chrome store and install a 3rd party extension to get the Helper, and you don't know it's a 3rd party extension? :(

The Helper has a Discord group which you can join, and they already know about the Negotiation errors that started this week. If you just close the negotiation and open it a second time, it all works fine.
P.S. it's not illegal software, but the fact that some users have no clue which things are the game and which are 3rd party add-ons is a good reason why most companies discourage the use of 3rd party materials.
And that's a shame because this game in particular has become so obtuse and complicated there is literally no way to keep up with all the parts and play intelligently without the tools of the Helper. There would be no way to track fragments or building sets, or which buildings make what fragments, no way to see all the eras of your guild members in one page, export the treasury log to see overall costs for GBG and GE, seamlessly calculate 1.9 and 1.95 values for building donations, see which neighbors are active or inactive on ONE page, and a host of other functions, without which I would just quit trying tomorrow because the base game itself does not provide enough tools to manage a guild, let alone my own city and friends list.
Would be a huge boon to the game in general if Inno actually produced a official add on tool kit which mirrored the tools that Foe Helper has, it's been too long without one, mind you, Inno would probably charge for its use on a yearly or monthly basis.....perhaps they may surprise us one day and buy out Foe Helper and incorporate it into the game permanently
