Negative attack boost while defending. Why ?

While defending i found out mine units got - 60% attack (red colored) together with mine usual 33% (green colored) attack boost seen while I watch batle. Can anybody explain me that. I am not so new player - but I have never see this. It must be some new future but I can not find explanation.

some units, TE microwave blaster for example, have a heat skill which reduces the attack of a unit they hit by 20%, so for a unit to finish with -60% then they have been hit 3 times by 1 of the units with this skill
