Unformatted: Moving stuff takes time to reinstate

As I move stuff around, I am a bit surprised that there is no enforced delay before assets that were moved are fully operative again.

I suggest that after any asset is moved, it is disabled for 10% of the time it takes to build it. I suggest that the assets could remain movable, but the disable timer will restart every time an asset is moved.

I suggest that although houses and other objects that support population should not "lose" their residents, production will "pause" for the time being. Similarly, military objects would stop their training. Etc.

In order for an idea to be forwarded, it needs to be posted in a required format.
If it is not in the right format, nothing will be done with it.
Even when it is formatted, it can not be on the Do Not Suggest List.
Also it should not have been proposed before.

This is how you propose an idea

https://forum.en.forgeofempires.com/index.php?threads/how-the-ideas-section-works.43102/

This is the Do Not Suggest List

https://forum.en.forgeofempires.com/index.php?threads/do-not-suggest.37648/

And here you use the forum search function to see if your idea has not been proposed before

https://forum.en.forgeofempires.com/index.php?search/

Once you have followed all these instructions it all depends on how players will vote on your idea.
For it to be forwarded it needs a majority of 70% or more.

Hope this helps!

? Any particular reason you'd want this?
It would provide a little more realism, and introduce a further strategic factor if/when scrambling to rearrange things to build something in a hurry to meet some challenge, whether that comes from the game or another player. A minor nuisance to keep in mind. :D

I don't understand why you would want this? People already hate how slow the construction aspect of the game can be. Personally I don't to wait ages for a building to be functional just because I moved it. In fact I could say the far most majority of players don't want that either.

I cannot see any reason for this. It would provide more frustration than realism. Redesigning your city is an ongoing thing in the game. so it becomes 2nd nature to "see" what will be needed as you go forward. if you are having to scramble at the last minute to find room for a needed building, that is your failure in forward planning. It is not a game issue. Inno cannot plan around individual players shortcomings.
