Not a Bug: moving screen around holding down left mouse button.

DeletedUser

After letting left mouse button go, the screen sometimes still moves about when moving the mouse and I have to do a left click to stop the movement. I am on a PC and my old ball mouse may be the problem. this is happening randomly.
anyone else experiencing this?

It's not the problem of the mouse, it's a mistake yourself I think... I had that problem, too.
It happen all the time, when I scroll and the mouse is out of the "landscape" (somewhere on the browserbar or on the ranking list) when I let the mouse button go. Then I have the problem.
It is the same in other browsergames as well. So the "problem" is normal and I think it is in the programming of flash.

This is actually not a bug by flash or anything else. It's a matter of focus.
flash is the window not the browser. As soon as your curser moves out of the window and onto the browser the focus shifts. But the developers should make a small adjustment that looks for the focus, if not "let go".

Thomas

Thanks for your feedback.
Well if this continues I will be packing it in after I have helped as much as poss with the "forge of empires" development.
It is a shame that they have used "Flash"
I think flash is a poorly written game engine which is OK for very simple games which I have made up a few of.
