Most expensive forge point

DeletedUser3157

At the moment I have over 110,000,000 coins in the bank; 600FP in my inventory; and buying forge points only costs 29450 coins.

Once I get my Château Frontenac to level 10 then I'll dump 20-30 million resources into doing the "Pay 60,000 coins and 50,000 supplies" looping quest and see how many medals and FP packages I can get as it'll probably be cheaper to buy FPs like that than it will be to buy them individually with coins.

For FPs u would be better off just buying em. Assuming the 1/15 odds are somewhat correct(and they appear to be), it makes 180k coins for 1 FP. But if you are in it for medals and get the FPs just as bonus, then maybe.

It's not quite that simple as you can also get coin and supply rewards so you can get a partial refund on the cost of the quests (and with a maximum boost from the Château then that can be significant).

Hmm true that. I quess with such a big number of events, u can estimate rather accurately all ur costs and what u will get out of it if knowing the odds. So with 500 spins and lvl10 frontac, I would think it's gonna be roughly smth like 2.5k goods, about 6M of both coins and supplies, 30 BPs, 150 FPs and 20-25k medals with the cost of 30M coins and 25M supplies assuming my reward odds estimates are somewhat accurate.

2.5K goods? I've been only getting 5 goods as reward from these quests and that means that you would of have won goods every time
Unless you also put in the bonus, but then your coin and supply amount is off...
Analyzing a bit further, 24M Coins / 150fp = about 160K coins per forge point
16M Coins / 150fp = about 107K coins per forge point (plus the cost of supplies :(). I can't trust hint's estimate too much though as I have been getting goods a lot less frequently...

Well I finally got my Chateau Frontenac to level 10 and sat down and spent about 14 million coins and 12 million supplies to do just over 300 of the"Unbirthday Quests" and here's what I got:

Unbirthday PartyFnordThe Spink
Pay 60k coins & 50k suppliesGather 280k CoinsGather 250k supplies
37,600 Supplies4503
75,200 Supplies2020
35,250 Coins4312
70,500 Coins2130
11 Tinplate2012
11 Gasoline2112
11 Explosives2501
11 Asbestos1620
11 Machine Parts2800
1 Blueprint1600
1 Medium FP Package2202
705 Medals2901
20 Diamonds000
Reward

The columns for "Fnord" and "The Spink" quests are included as, while doing the "Unbirthday Quests", I gathered enough supplies & coins to complete those quests multiple times and so the rewards for those also need to be factored into the benefits.

Overall, it works out that each "Unbirthday Quest" cost me about 48,700 coins and 39,200 supplies and each FP cost 124k coins and 120k supplies; but then I also got a total of 21150 medals, 1309 goods and 16 (random) BP.

If I can be bothered I'll double or triple the number of quests I've done (since I still have plenty of coins & supplies stockpiled) and see what numbers come out.

So recalculating my quesswork for 500 into 300, we get:

Supplies: my quess 3.6M, u got 3M
Coins: my quess 3.6M, u got 2.9M
Goods: my quess 1.5K, u got 1.3k
BPs: my quess 18, u got 16
FPs: my quess 18, u got 22
Medals: my quess 14k, u got 21k

Overall looks like u were quite lucky with medals there, but seems not too much off. Coins and supplies I think I slightly overestimated cause I assumed equal chance for both big and small reward of em, but looks like they are 2/3 1/3 instead.

This is an old thread but interesting to note that as of June 2018 my coin cost per FP is now 805k, guess that 4000 more FPs and I will be close to a 1M per FP... scary

It’s all about economy of scale mates. I can’t spend enough coin to deplete my stores. So? I can spend 500k on an FP if I want (I don’t, at 40k in f-world) and still not lose ground with coin.

I'm currently trying to save up, to be a billionaire on that world. Gold.png

God, don't I wish there was a mechanism to buy even 10 at a time, with coins. Anything would be better than 1 at a time.

It's worse that that... Buy 5 FPs, accept rec. quest reward, reject 7 quests, buy 5 FPs, accept rec. quest reward...

I will keep FPs at just over 200 Million, anything else gets converted to FPs with a severe risk of repetitive stress injury in index finger...

Currently I pay 350 K per FP
