Unformatted: Modify those quest requiring to gather X amounts of each goods

I’ve read 7 pages of propositions and didn’t see it. Though it’s that simple it possibly was requested before.

You know when in game you those quests, either a side quest or a recurring quest, to gather a specific amount of goods of each type for the era you’re in… Every time you get a single bar showing the overall progress. So if the quest says gather 200 of each types, then your overall bar will show 0/1000, and grow as you gather some. But it’s impossible to tell which one you need and what amount for each.
So often you end wasting ressources buying some of each types to figure which one you still need for the quest.
It would a lot more helpful if the quest showed each type rather than a overall count.

Is it possible to modify the game codes to implement this modification for such quests ?

I started a new city on Uceria when the server was launched… there aren’t much advanced players. So there’s only a few advanced goods available on the market, unlike older servers who are flooded with them. I’m in the top 20 and yet its still difficult to gather sometimes. And it’s frustrating when you gather hundreds of your era’s goods but the quest overall only goes up by a few dozens. That’s when you know you’ve already completed some types, but you don’t know which one…

So instead of one progress bar saying:
0/1000

Could we have 5 bars, one for each type, portraying each types progress:
0/200
0/200
0/200
0/200
0/200

Thank you for your time.

In order for an idea to be forwarded, it needs to be posted in a required format.
If it is not in the right format, nothing will be done with it.
Even when it is formatted, it can not be on the Do Not Suggest List.
Also it should not have been proposed before.

This is how you propose an idea

https://forum.en.forgeofempires.com/index.php?threads/how-the-ideas-section-works.43102/

This is the Do Not Suggest List

https://forum.en.forgeofempires.com/index.php?threads/do-not-suggest.37648/

And here you use the forum search function to see if your idea has not been proposed before

https://forum.en.forgeofempires.com/index.php?search/

Once you have followed all these instructions it all depends on how players will vote on your idea.
For it to be forwarded it needs a majority of 70% or more.

Hope this helps!

It has been proposed and discussed before. Popular opinion at the time was that it is easy to make notes of your trades, or just trade in a carousel. Some quests are just harder than others. I do not see a reason to dumb them down.

Agreed, it's annoying. Some event buildings produce an equal amount of all goods from the current age, while other buildings produce X amount of one good. Thus as you collect from your buildings it is easy to lose track of which goods you have collected enough of and which ones you need more of. It would be a nice quality of life feature to show exactly how much of each good we need.
