Medals Reset?

Yesterday I had over 1,000 medals. I haven't been using them since I don't yet have full blueprints for a Great Building. After logging into the game today, however, I only have 88.

What happened to all the Medals that were stored?

you can't use medals with a full bp set :lol:

you can buy expansions with it
if you had yesterday 1000 more than today I bet 1000 medals that you placed the 1000 medal expansion ;)

As Test Ament mentioned, It's impossible to use medals that way and could it be that you actually spent them on victory expansion?
