Unformatted: Making People Aware that Some Players Prefer Trade

I have been attacked to many times since I went offline over 30 Hours Ago, due to the continued attacks I have now come to a crashing halt, because I was doing a Trade for 38 Limestone offering 76 Lumber. When I was about to Post Trade offer Someone Attacked and Stole 79 out of 92 Lumber, causing me to come to that halt. I am infuriated that players do not take the time to look at other players city to see what they have, and if they do and attack, this is a blatant front to say we want to bully you because you have no defense.
I am now at my wits end with these Players and seek ways to stop this this madness from happening to future traders like myself.

You cannot steal items from someone's inventory. Stop making up stuff.

Don't do anything, accept this as part and parcel as to being a part of the game. Although I am interested how you came to the conclusion that anyone could steal your lumber (I assume you are talking about inventory) - if you are talking about Goods producing building, well then, pick it up on time and do not leave it open for plunder.

Stealing from inventory would be an interesting feature 10k saab goods or more maybe in 1 Inventory Plunder
Plunder ALL could be fun. Bomb Building and Nuke City too.

If anything, I'd vote for A) contact player. Real plunderers love hate letters.

If you "lost" lumber then you used it or it was temporarily put aside for the trade you put up

I have no idea what options B,C or D would actually achieve but as @klods hans says everyone likes to get a little thank you note to brighten their day
