People keep adding likes to the ideas, but does it make a difference, now that the thread has been closed?

Which does not provide any time for the most recent posts to get many likes so not fairly judged in my opinion.

You have had plenty of time to come up with suggestions. How long do you think likes should still count? A week, a month, a year for those that arrived late to the party? It was a sprint, not a marathon.

With 25 forums partcicipating the devs will be flooded with ideas.

It was a nice and easy way to quickly pitch ideas without having to format them in a certain way.

Not just that. It also was a way to propose already rejected ideas and to bring already forwarded ideas back to attention again. Only DNS was excluded, but for some it never seems good enough.

He's got a good point; the earlier posts in the thread get longer exposure and more opportunity for likes from later posters.
Nobody said that it was a race and the people who got their ideas in first were more likely to be listened to :P

Since this now becomes a discussion about moderation I am locking this.

- If you have a problem with the moderation of any subforum or the forum in general, please do not create a topic or post in public about it. Contact a moderator with your problem and we will either explain the reasons or do our best to solve the problem should one exist. Creating topics and posting about it only serves to increase public unrest and will not solve any problems.
