Only level 7 or above eco sanctums give next-aged units, which are not instantly as good as blueberry fields. which also come with incursion start units when ascended.
Golden eco sanctums+30 Random Next Age Units
size 6x6 vs BF 3x2, so 2 x blueberry fields take less space and produce 6 more troops.

LvL 2 Neo Aviary is also a great addition, although 2x4, it doesn't need a road either. The boosts are a bit better.
