Okay, thanks for checking. Can I ask someone to run a tracert on en0.forgeofempires.com and post their results? Our sysadmins are still working on the issue, thanks for your patience.

EDIT:
Basic instructions from Google

Windows

  1. Open the Start menu
  2. Type in 'Run'
  3. Type cmd and then press the OK button to open a command prompt
  4. At the prompt, type tracert en0.forgeofempires.com and press the Enter key

Just to be absolutely clear, this issue is only seemingly affecting players in Australia who use a specific ISP. At least for now, it looks it could potentially be a problem at their end not ours, but we're continuing to look in to the issue, of course.

Well, with English Premier League now with Optus, people like me don't need much of an excuse to do the work to change telecommunications companies! Tell Telstra to get their act together if it's at their end.

From FoE point of view, this morning my boat was going to come in with the necessary goods to complete latest AFE expansion. Maybe it's also a good time to find something else to do with my time than run a Guild.

Thanks for the traces guys, they helped us to do some more troubleshooting. We shouldn't need any more of these. As it stands, we're waiting to hear back on this issue, and it'll be resolved as soon as possible. Thanks once again for your patience.

If it helps at all, this started at 9am sunday morning Australian eastern standard time. I was playing on line, and then couldn't get into GE or continent map, I logged off and then the troubles started trying to get back in.

DeletedUser105361

I hooked up with a free VPN for the interim.
I at least got on, collected everything and used my FP's and logged off again.
This may take a little while cos we all know how useless Telstra can be at these sorts of things.

DeletedUser107476

I see people saying they cannot collect fp. If you have access to app on a device you can still get on and collect, it seems to be only affecting pc version.

DeletedUser107673

it is only affecting us Telstra ppl, just use my mobile hotspot for the laptop as my mobile is optus and got on without any problems with the optus network, but my home base is Telstra network and cant get on at all

DeletedUser104215

it is affecting more than pc, I have tried on multiple devices, pc, laptop, tablet and phone, all with same result, loading text but no graphics. Telstra is my provider but I asked some friends who use Optus and they are having the same trouble. I can load any other Inno game but not FoE

DeletedUser105361

As it's 9:42am Monday morning here is someone from Inno talking to Telstra about this issue?
Do we have to make repeated complaints to Telstra ourselves?

DeletedUser6065

One of my guilidies is complaining.
Told him to go to a community site such as Facebook and log just how cocked up this company is.

DeletedUser104215

You can't trust Telstra to tell you the truth.
Their Level 1 techs are lucky to know how to type anything into the reporting system.
Their level 2 techs can at least understand English.
