iOS app crashes when trying to enter research or map

  • Browser and Version:iPad 2 with iOS 9.0
  • Overview of the bug:iOS app crashes when trying to enter research or map. It does not happen when i play through the browser instead
  • Screenshots:
  • How often this occurs:every time I try to enter either map or research
  • Urgency:game breaking, but not urgent to me personally
  • Preventative Actions:none that i know of (except using a browser on a pc)
  • Summary:when hitting either the research or map button on the app, the customary shield comes on screen and after the usual amount of time before reverting to those sections it crashes instead. The app exits and has to reload.
  • I have performed a quicksearch of the forums using a select few keywords relating to my bug to see if it has already been reported:yes
  • Have you tried fixing it by using methods listed in the thread pinned to the top of this forum:they seem to be mostly for pc browsers. I have restarted and relogged in many times. One thing i havent done is upgrade to iOS 9.1
