Well all of the units will be ranged and the devs are working on improving the combat system for the next age, meaning certain units can retaliate from certain range.
There will be new roads that give 35 happiness and you get 5 more expansions.

King Leupolds inside information seems much more plauseble imo.
I also heard there is a new cool feature of "digging coal". You just have to click at your coal mine for a couple of thousand times every day and you may recivie some coal which will become a new important resource needed to build all the buildings in IA and unlock any research. Or you can obviously just ignore all that process and build a premium coal mine that does it for you automaticly.
