Dear Queens and Kings,

You may have already seen it on our Beta servers, but now it is ready for everyone. We're happy to announce a new Feature in Forge of Empires: Incidents! Coming October 16th to our server!

These are small events that will occasionally pop up inside and outside of your city. They can show up as all kinds of little things, such as pot holes in your road, a tree blown over by the wind, a ship that has washed ashore or even the skeleton of a long since dead creature!

Keep your eyes peeled and click on them when they show up, rewards big and small are awaiting you!

Just to give you a general idea of what the incidents look like, please take a look at a few examples:

incident_mammoth1.png
An archaeological site with mammoth bones.

incident_kite1.png
A kite stuck in a tree.

incident_sos1.png
A distress signal on a beach.

incident_rhino1.png
A stranded rhino on a raft.

incident_blockedroad1.png
Blocked road (note that it will stop the traffic!)

The incidents come in different rarities: common (for example the kite), uncommon (mammoth bones) and rare (rhino). When you click on an incident, it will disappear and give you something in return. It will be in-game resources, including coins and supplies, but also medals, boosts or even tiny amounts of Diamonds. Of course rare incidents will contain better rewards than the common or uncommon ones.

There will be at least one, but not more than a few incidents per day in your city (or around it). Since incidents are visually small, it can happen that you miss them from time to time. Especially the ones in the city may be harder to notice. But don't worry - incidents are renewed daily, so keep your eyes open and search your city and the surroundings. You can see further details of the available Incidents and their rewards on our Wiki.

We hope that you like this small addition to the game. If you have comments, please feel free to add your post in the feedback thread.

Thank you for playing Forge of Empires!

Sincerely,
Your Forge of Empires Team
