I have just realised I am an idiot - something those around me have been aware of for many years.

My archers with their attack 10 and defence 4 gain NO BENEFIT from a 3% attack bonus or 9% defence bonus, they still show values of 10 and 4 respectively. Which of course mathematically they would - 3% of 10 is 0.3 which rounds to 0 and 9% of 4 is 0.36 which also rounds to 0

Its only when I compared the units in the "selected army" area with those in reserve that I saw their values were the same!

So I was an idiot to think that a 3% attack boost or 9% defence boost would help! I should have made the calculations!

It simply doesn't show decimals. I'm not sure if they actually count, but I think they do.
