You should also be talking to the other guild members about the cost. Each lvls cost is directly related to the amount of members in the guild corresponding to their age and everyone can donate to the treasury.

I have never been able to have difficulty level 2 unlocked for me in multiple guilds even after contacting leaders and donating goods in numbers far above numbers shown in the tables. Support was no assistance

You should change guilds, I did and I am so much happier now ☺️

If your guild isn't unlocking lvls for you then you need to look for a different guild. Invitation and application guilds tend to have a much better chance of unlocking lvls and being a supportive environment then anything that allows a one click join
