How do you get more soldiers?

This is probably an easy question to answer but i just started and i cant figure out out to get more soldiers, i got 2 spear fighters from doing a quest type thing but i cant figure out how to get more guys. I looked around in game and in the forums and dont see anything telling me how. can some one help me out please?

You must build a barrack where you can build extra spearmen.
You can build that barrack from the menu where you also can build houses and other buildings.
