How do I recognize ARC's udner 1 for 9

I've mistakenly contributed to ARC's that were the subject of 1 for 9 threads and understandably been chipped for it. I am in desperate need of BP's for my ARC so is there a way I can identify an ARC is under 1 for 9 so that I don't contribute and mess things up for those whom it is intended for?

You don't other than maybe a message in the players profile and it does not really matter. You are free to donate.

Ask for help with bp's. Good guild mates or friends would help you secure a reward spot in their Arc's without messing up 1.9 contributions.
Some guild have threads for this where GB owners offer 5th spots for bp hunters.
