Hood balancing

I feel aggrieved how you will let players with Oceanic era troops stay i Future Era and be allowed to use units to attack people in Future Era this is clearly unbalanced and unfair

The Hood mergers should also consider what troops are available to players when merging hoods not just where they are in tech tree, either that or make troops of any era above what you are in unaccessible to players to stop it being unfair to rest of hood if someone has troops above the era they are in then they should automatically be put in a technological hood of troops they posess

Rather useless idea. You win those fights with units from your era anyhow, so who cares about units from higher era's?

and move the people with high GB out too

units with 100% attack boost are better than units from 2 eras advanced without boost from GB

and it would be really unfair if those players would be still in the hood

and wait:
players with 2 spearfighters in defense should be in the hood that fits to their defending army
so move all players with 2 spearfighters into bronze age neighborhoods.
some neighbors would be really happy to defeat those 2 spearfighters and plunder goods from a much higher era
wouldn't it awesome if you as bronze age player could plunder all goods you need for an Arc or AO

either that or make troops of any era above what you are in unaccessible to players to stop it being unfair

looks like they are already unaccessible to you

Sorry this is not an idea. And yes it is a really diffcult one to solve - how to balance hoods.
The only idea i can think off right now would be to rotate hoods weekly - but it does not really solve the challenge.
