does anybody know if GvG will ever be available on android ty

I play on android OS quite offten. My advise is not to download mobile app because all features are not available there. Install Puffin browser and by using it browse for normal FoE web site, and play game with all features like you would use to do by playing on home PC. It will take you few hours to get use to it, but after that you will play normaly. If you have any other question once you start, feel free to ask.

Agree totally, even on iPhone with small screen it's possible to gvg using puffin... Couple of hours getting used to zooming in and out is all it takes.

Puffin is also pretty fast on iOS, android and Windows 10 tablets.
