Guild goods.

If a guild collects goods....why cannot it create or accept trades with it's members? An TE member gets all Kracken BPs but can't trade on the open market for the goods.....doesn't have or want to PAY for the OF goods.....why can't the guild make the trades??? It's the guilds goods...the guild should decide what it spends them on. Just sick of having to make personal unfair trades to guildies to get GBs built when there are 1000s of guild goods going unused.....OF........ when as a guild we should use our collective resources to help our own.
Those are a guilds resources. Worked hard for. The guild should should decide how to spend them. 1000 Dye for 1000 Corals......thats up to US!

Alas people don't understand... If Inno released that it would cause chaos, because-
  1. Arcs, Observatory and Atomium would become way more popular than now( Although Arc is already a powerhouse)
  2. If someone in Bronze Age can trade for OF goods without FPs, then it would be very unfair to other players who are not in a good guild...
  3. Guild goods are for GvG and GE...
  4. Inno rakes in tons of money selling goods...

beta is a mess....GvG it STILL a mess.....Why have AF and OF if there is no outlet for a guild to use it's goods? Yes AF is needed for GE but thats it.
It makes getting into a guild harder....it makes guild loyalty stronger....and guilds grow stronger by helping their own. btw.....why aren't guild members able to sit at members Taverns without adding to FL????? Aren't guildies closer then friends??

if a guild wants that guild members get goods they shouldn't spend them into the treasury and give them to other members

decide it before you donate it to the treasury :P

with donating to the treasury you gave up to decide everything
because you already decided to use them in GE or GvG. that is why the goods are in the treasury

we worked hard to get our 90% Arc boost
the guild goods from Arc is like a waste we get together with it

tell me one player who leveled his Arc because of the goods
or show me a level 80 Obs

Sorry, but your proposal seams more like an annoyment issue than an Idea proposal (No Idea Format applied). There has been many other ideas on this subject, even quite advanced and detailed proposals with modifier tables etc. So far none have made it, because it was never intended that the guild treasury should be a secondary market for the Guild members. If implemeted, like you propose, it would offset the already big gap between high ranking guilds and new guilds, not to mention players not in guilds. A big high ranking guild would have so many goods in stock that it could supply every single member to raise any GB they wanted. And still there is a limit to how many members a guild can have – so quite unfortunate for those not beeing in such a guild.

For all the reasons already mentioned by others above.

  • Abusable
  • Encourages "guild hoppers" - people who hop from guild to guild reaping selfish benefits.
  • Unfair on those not in a guild or in smaller guilds.
  • Too many Arcs will be built too easily. High level Arcs give players a massive advantage over those who don't have one, newer players will struggle to get decent Blueprints because of the high level Arc crowd locking them all.
  • The Do Not Suggest thread says not to suggest things that will make players richer (https://forum.en.forgeofempires.com/index.php?threads/what-not-to-suggest.32559/).

All of these show that you don't really understand the game.
1.No it's not. Highly abusable, if this get implemented I will quit the game.
2.Some guilds are small. There are only about 50 guilds in each world that are strong... 80x50(Which is impossible as guilds sometimes leave a few spaces)=4000. Lots of players can't get in, and I was lucky enough to get into a strong guild in C.
3.The only reason they are there is because GvG and GE requires lots of goods from guild...
4. If Inno goes broke we can't play the game...
It doesn't make guilds stronger... Only high guilds benefit. The high guilds get stronger while the small ones dwindle. 'The rich gets richer' that is essentially what your idea will cause.
The guild members can't visit you tavern because that will overpower guilds(again).

What measures would you implement to prevent a thief or sour player from taking every high aged good for themselves leaving a guild broke that may have obtained those goods from since the time that server first came online?

The treasury is not there for the individual to use in the single player parts of the game which is the only purpose you'd possibly have for removing them. It's there for the guilds use in multiplayer specifically. If there should be any trading in the guild treasury at all, it should not touch the player stocks but rather just convert treasury stocks up or down ages for the guilds needs in GvG or GE. However even that would cause a huge discrepancy between new and established guilds due to the accumulated stocks from arcs/obs/atoms
