Guild Expeditions - 4th Difficulty

Dear Kings and Queens!

We know that for some of the most dedicated explorers, the three difficulties that are currently available is just not enough. That's why we proudly present a new addition - the bonus 4th difficulty! :) It will be available on Tuesday!

It is a new expansion to the Guild Expeditions that is very hard, very demanding, very challenging and very rewarding.

4th difficulty is a new add-on for the most determined, powerful and resourceful guilds that feel like they want to accomplish even more than just completing the usual 100% every week.
Rewards for solving encounters are noticeably better. Small encounters will give you Diamonds, goods, medals, Expedition attempts and usable items. Large encounters will reward you mostly with buildings, Diamonds and usable items.
What's more, there will normally be only two possible rewards, so the chance is 50/50. Therefore the chance of getting the reward you're looking for is much higher. The variety is larger on the large encounters, where the rewards vary from week to week.
If you want to unlock the bonus 4th difficulty, your guild will of course have to use goods from the guild treasury. Check the table in the spoiler below for exact figures:

These costs are per player, which means your guild will need to pay a cumulative costs based on the number of players (and their era). There is no change on this front, that will remain as it worked so far.

The bonus 4th difficulty is handled a bit differently in the Championships. An entire guild finishing the normal 3- expedition will still result in 100%, and on the guild member progress overview you'll also see 48/48 encounters.
Guilds and players that are powering through the 4th difficulty will be indicated on the list - you will see a different icon next to their names:

You will also see that those brave people went over the 'maximum' available amount of encounters (for example 55/48). The percentage can also go over 100%. A theoretical new maximum score is 133%, if an entire guild manages to finish the 4th difficulty.
