Mmmmm...thoughts on the new GBG. It was very frustrating on opening 'cos I just couldn't get a fight. It seems to have settled down & access to fights is reasonable. I don't think we have dominated the guilds we are currently up against as much in the past. I think it's usually been much closer?
Personally for me the new GBG is on reflection OK. There's pro's & con's. It's just a bit "merrrhh". In other words there's no real buzz of excitement basically 'coz if you blink...it's over. As far as the rewards are concerned I'm about the same but without the crap I don't need. I have got the same amount of diamonds & a couple of Tourneys as I have maxed the amount of diamonds I can buy using silver coins. I now like the idea of having the choice of what I want rather than random rewards. The big plus is the amount of game time spent on the GBG is about half or less....which has helped by poor arthritic fingers & my computer mouse has breathed a huge sigh of relief.
It will be interesting to see what fight access is like when we have to compete against a top ranking guild or two together? We shall see?

you miss the point i was making but then its typical of how thick you are, my name is desypete in the game and on this forum, you on the other hand are trying to pretend your a different name in the game lol nice try but your name is droppy so i expect to see your name in the game as droppy as its clear to me your just pretending lol
as for hurt feelings ? you couldnt hurt anyone you might dream that you do but in real life your just a creep who was bullied as a kid and has found a way to hit out at people in a forum dont worry your safe in this online world

So? Does that mean you have to be DESYPETE on every language server you want to play, or might it be possible to be, let's say FATUGLY on the US server?
If you do, is that pretending to be someone else, or is it still you, using a different name? Pretending is what you do, by claiming to be the better fighter, when in fact you are as good at it as trying to quote the same text in a post just once.

the fatugly name was used way back before we could change our names and once we were allowed to change our names i changed it to desypete is there something you dont understand that ?

No wonder there are so many abandoned early era accounts/cities on every world. Inno are driving new players away by making tasks impossible to complete.
First rival challenge which started yesterday: Pay 200 Goods.
Just how is a relatively new player in Bronze Age or Iron Age going to get hold of 200 Goods? Instead they immediately become disillusioned by the prospect of this task and the likelihood of further impossible tasks, so quit the game.

If Inno wants to attract and retain new players, they need to scale the challenges appropriate to player’s Era.

I think I've lost the will to live since this new update went live, it's killed any excitement I had for battles, it's now just like do a few fights, sit back for a couple of hours, do a few more fights that last 2 seconds and hope for the best when it comes to rewards, which apart from a few measly diamonds and a tourney or two, are just useless fragments which will take years to collect enough for anything worthwhile. So my final thoughts on it is "it sucks" and you will be losing many long term (who should be considered valued) players over this stupid rearrangement of GBG which is the main reason most of us are playing FOE

i think they know they will be losing players but are they players that are willing to spend spend spend ? as that is the only thing that will ever make inno sit up and take notice, if there sales slump then they will do something, if players are still willing to spend and lets face it now there are so many opportunity's for spending with so many shops etc then they might be making more sales than ever before, time will tell, if we get some kind of announcement by inno that they have been listing to players and are going to make changes you know sales are slumping but so far with all these changes they keep making and its always worse, players seem to adapt and still keep on spending

and Ignore @Droppy - the rest of us do, except when we sometimes fail to resist the trolling bait. Like I'm about to do.
1) Trial 1 is twice as hard as it used to be which is why the rank points are also doubled, read the announcement tab 3 about the scaling of rank points and re-read the difficulty scaling in tab 2.
2) Titan and SASH GB's aren't really meant for people who are not in Titan and SASH, hence all the goods requirements and restrictions, it's not a great option for anyone else
3) Events ARE hard to get the main building finished without diamonds, not impossible, but they HAVE squeezed the hell out of the balancing in 2025.
4) Matt promised us a Great Building rework to keep them relevant for over a year, don't make me quote them all AGAIN every time you give out wrong information in the forum. They promised it specifically in Q3 this year and Matt has until Sep 30 now to make good on it, and it's not even in beta - so yeah, maybe they lied again, but they did state it as a high priority, more than once! Thank you @Ariana Erosaire , to be fair I'll give him the point re Pegasus, Hydra etc. But even so 5% is now bu**er all anyway, the goods requirements are feckin huge (and also not the easiest goods to come by), and exactly as you said, not everyone is Titan/SASH.

I'm cracking on for now, but if the GB update posted this morning does end up going ahead then I think I'll be out.
