Great Building contest : Winning Buildings‏

DeletedUser276

Dear Kings and Queens,
We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who cast votes on their favourite Great Building suggestions. We received more than 6000 votes and, if you’ve been following the final stage of the contest, you already know which ones will become the Great Buildings for the Progressive Era.
So, without further ado, we are delighted to present the winning buildings:

The winners

The Château Frontenac, Quebec

The Château Frontenac was built as a Château-style hotel and is a symbol of wealth and luxury. It opened its doors in 1893 and since then has remained a prominent feature in the Quebec city skyline.

Alcatraz, San Francisco

Alcatraz is located in San Francisco Bay, and is renowned across the world as an island prison – The Rock. Its main cell block was completed in 1912 and is, to this day, the island’s most prominent feature.
The winners will be announced in several days’ time, after we’ve gathered the entries from all game versions, so stay tuned for that.
Once again, thanks for taking part in the contest, and we hope you enjoyed participating.

Sincerely,
The Forge of Empires Team.
