Hello,

Could you please advise how this situation is possible?
If all sectors adjacent to a sector of Guild 1 are conquered by Guild 2, the sector should automatically be conquered by Guild 2.
Otherwise, it's a huge miss & GBG rules are just ridiculous.

That's not how it works. Never has. Sectors do not have to be connected.

Nope sectors shouldnt just be awarded to a guild its been that way since GbG started
You have to complete all encounters to win the sector
Not being connected to a guilds starting point is irrelevant

Then it's all about just picking up a sector & fighting / negotiating, because it can be conquered only directly. Really weird and strange.
That's not interesting at all.

It is actually rather interesting if you understand how it works and make strategic decisions.

Don't agree. Would be ridiculous if you could take a sector by surrounding it.
GBG is really simple, you can just pick a sector, conquer it and never be concerned about losing it.
It's too simple.

You lose it if someone else conquers it. Not sure where you want to go with this discussion, but it does help if you know how it works. So far your statements do not show you do.

Thanks for the link, but it's the basic stuff.
I see some FOE wiseacres know how to play the game, that's why asking for more profound knowledge :)
Every rule has a reason for it, and the main question was not how it works, but why it works like that.
There're some similar old threads on the forum & people are wondering about the same thing.
For sure, it's easier to not overcomplicate matters from developer standpoint & keep the GBG logic simple (no additional calculations).

It's the basic stuff you do not seem to understand that started this discussion in the first place. It works this way cause the developers decided it should work this way. If you think there is something wrong with how it works there is a feedback thread for you to express your concerns. Those "wiseacres" have better knowledge than you on how it works and if it is your intention to start insulting posters that do not agree with you I will lock this thread.

I thought it's the discussion & feedback section.
Is "wiseacre" considered as an insult, did I miss something?
These posters don't provide any arguments (as any healthy discussion should have), so their posts are useless.

Knight of ICE

There is a seperate thread for feedback on GBG.

Only useless post here is yours, cause it starts out with a wrong assumption.

Thread locked. Any feedback you have you can put in the appropriate thread.
