Nope sectors shouldnt just be awarded to a guild its been that way since GbG startedIf all sectors adjacent to a sector of Guild 1 are conquered by Guild 2, the sector should automatically be conquered by Guild 2.
Then it's all about just picking up a sector & fighting / negotiating, because it can be conquered only directly. Really weird and strange.
That's not interesting at all.
It omits a lot of opportunities and strategic decisions, because any sector must be conquered directly. It is actually rather interesting if you understand how it works and make strategic decisions.
Don't agree. Would be ridiculous if you could take a sector by surrounding it.Otherwise, it's a huge miss & GBG rules are just ridiculous.
GBG is really simple, you can just pick a sector, conquer it and never be concerned about losing it.Don't agree. Would be ridiculous if you could take a sector by surrounding it.
You really ought to learn how the game is played - before making statements like that.GBG is really simple, you can just pick a sector, conquer it and never be concerned about losing it.
It's too simple.

Probably you can provide some enlightenment and show how it's played? You really ought to learn how the game is played - before making statements like that.

Thanks for the link, but it's the basic stuff.

I see some FOE wiseacres know how to play the game, that's why asking for more profound knowledge
Every rule has a reason for it, and the main question was not how it works, but why it works like that.
There're some similar old threads on the forum & people are wondering about the same thing.
For sure, it's easier to not overcomplicate matters from developer standpoint & keep the GBG logic simple (no additional calculations).
I thought it's the discussion & feedback section. It's the basic stuff you do not seem to understand that started this discussion in the first place. It works this way cause the developers decided it should work this way. If you think there is something wrong with how it works there is a feedback thread for you to express your concerns. Those "wiseacres" have better knowledge than you on how it works and if it is your intention to start insulting posters that do not agree with you I will lock this thread.
