Confirmed: GBG: Progress not removed with no adjacent sectors (no connection)

DeletedUser117610

3 days later and the same sector still shows attacks from the team that has no adjacent sectors, despite having been turned over pretty much constantly every 4h and that team hasn't had adjacency at any time. There have only ever been SC and towers on the sector so there has been no complication with the number of advances any time. Oddly though the number of advances now shows as being 1, it was higher previously. If the devs needed to see the problem first hand they could just monitor our server...

The orange team managed to get B2s adjacent to the isolated attack in B2t, and when we retook B2s the attack finally cleared.

It seems that when a province is capped the code checks for isolated attacks by the previous owner on adjacent provinces (and misses some sometimes) and does not check the capped province itself to see if being capped should clear any attacks on it). In theory this should work. It is baffling how an error in this code would not be easily found, and a bit worrying that adjacency may not be properly coded due to the effect it may have on other adjacency-dependent aspects such as how many SC there are next to a sector..

It would be helpful if you @scibuff @Lord Grok can edit the screenshot and mark on it where the sectors of concern are located, like this image:

from this post, but with further details, showing also the third letter (the "Shredouts") after the colon, for example with the (T) and (S) in (B2:T) (B2:S) shown

At present, there are just a bunch of unnamed sectors, just like a bunch of transformed rogues in a fight, and it is hard to figure out which one is the real unit.

It’s the orange flag without any orange sectors next to it. Don’t think anyone reading this thread anyway so doesn’t matter.

It happened again today in guild battlegrounds.

And this is not the first time this happened to us. Its been already been 3 times.
